A horrific incident took place in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on Friday. A Virat Kohli fan reportedly murdered his friend in a brawl over who is a better cricketer - Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. After this incident, Twitter was set abuzz with a trend #ArrestKohli on Saturday.
Although the 21-year-old as reported by the police has been put under the custody, fans from all over are now opening up, taking to Twitter to come out in support of the cricketer.
While some lashed out at Rohit Sharma fans stating, “All Rohit fans are shameless bcuz .why are you trending this trend huh? It’s not done by kohli himself.know you limits #ArrestKohli”, others came out in support of Kohli tweeting, “#ArrestKohli for being the Greatest Of All Time”.

Talking about the two greats of the game, both Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are Down Under for the T20 World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led side will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23 in Melbourne.
