Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya turned 29 on Tuesday. While several cricketers from around the world took to social media to wish him on his birthday, images and videos of his birthday celebration had also gone viral from Australia. Notably, Hardik and Karthik are part of the Indian contingent in Australia which is gearing up for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

However, Dinesh Karthik has now shared unseen footage and image from Hardik's special day as a bunch of boys could be seen on a private plane with Hardik seemingly taking a few instructions from the pilot. Karthik shared the picture and the video with a witty caption as he said that it was too mainstream to celebrate a birthday on the ground.

"Celebrating birthdays on ground was too mainstream so we took it to the sky 🛩️#Australia #TeamIndia #FunDay #Flight," he captioned the post.

Meanwhile, India will play their second warm-up match against Western Australia on October 13 at WACA, Perth. While the Men in Blue had managed to win the first match by 13 runs, their batters would look to put on a better show. Captain Rohit managed only 3 runs, while Rishabh Pant departed for 9. Deepak Hooda (22 off 14) and Hardik Pandya (27 off 20) produced a few boundaries but couldn't carry on for long and DK was also not the finisher he is known to be, managing 19 off 23.

Suryakumar Yadav's half-century (52 off 35) was the only major positive from their batting apart from their bowling effort led by Arshdeep Singh who scalped 3 wickets for 6 runs.
