final

Pakistan and England will be up against each other for the final clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022, at Melbourne Cricket Ground, on November 13 (Sunday). Both the teams had their unique journey so far in the competition and will be looking to add the prestigious trophy for second time in their cabinet.

Babar Azam & Co. scripted mother of comebacks in the history of the T20 World Cup and they would be hoping to make most of this opportunity by outplaying mighty England. With two back-to-back defeats and amid heavy criticism, Pakistan redeemed itself well and with fair share of luck (Netherlands beating South Africa), Pakistan met New Zealand in the semis. Players rose to the occasion and stunned the table toppers of Group 1, confirming their berth for the final clash.

Meanwhile, England had a terrific outing in the ICC tournament as they never looked back after a shocking defeat against Ireland. However, England’s best performance came when it needed the most as they crushed India in the semi-final clash by 10 wickets to setup their clash with Pakistan in the final match.

Cricket fans from both countries will be hoping to witness a blockbuster clash between the teams, but their expectations might suffer a roadblock as weather prediction does not look pleasing. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, there are very high chances of rainfall (around 80 per cent) on Sunday (November 13). There is a possibility of a thunderstorm too with strong winds developing in the area.

With the final likely to be shifted to Monday (November 14), the weather conditions seem no different. A clear weather on Monday is unlikely as there remains 100 per cent chances of rain.

With rain looming over Melbourne Cricket Ground, we will have to wait and watch what transpires on the day as so many cricket fans from England and Pakistan will be eager to see their players in action.
