The Indian men’s cricket team ahead of their preparations for the T20 World Cup have found time to celebrate a special day of their teammate. The Men in Blue came together and celebrated 29th birthday of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya. All members of the team gathered at a patio space at their hotel in Perth for the cake-cutting ceremony.

The pictures of this celebration were posted by the Indian Team Instagram account where all players and the support staff are seen surrounding the man of the moment on his special day. The post was captioned, “Happy Birthday @hardikpandya93 🥳 🎂.”

Along with these celebrations, several players also posted special messages for the all-rounder on their social media handles. But one of the most heartfelt messages was by Hardik’s brother Krunal Pandya. He tweeted a special message teasing the Gujarat Titans captain while sharing some pictures from their childhood.

The tweet said, “Happy birthday bachhu ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love you! There is no one like you. Keep believing. Keep inspiring everyone and just remember, I will always have your back 🤗🤗😘 @hardikpandya7.”

Talking about India’s preparations for the World Cup, the Men in Blue defeated the Western Australia Cricket Association XI by 13 runs at the W.A.C.A. Stadium in Perth. The Indian top-order got off to a horrid start as the opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant was folded for a combined score of 12 in 20 balls.

But the innings was rescued by Suryakumar Yadav who continued his purple patch and scored another important half-century. SKY posted 52 in 35 balls with three fours and three sixes at a strike rate of 148.57. The Mumbai Indians batter was supported by Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik and Axar Patel as India posted a total of 153.

In the second innings, the bowling department turned up the intensity as they reduced Western Australia to 11 for 3 in just two overs. This carnage continued as half the team was sent back to the pavilion at a score of 57. Sam Fanning was the lone warrior as he scored 59 but the Men in Blue won the game.
