India is known as a cricketing nation. Each year, millions of kids enroll themselves in cricket academies in hope to become next Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. They dream of meeting their cricketing idol and learn the tricks of becoming a world-class cricketer. While it stays a dream for most of the youngsters, one 11-year saw it became reality when he got a chance not only to meet his cricketing idols but also got a chance to bowl to them.

11- year-old, Drushil Chauhan got the opportunity to bowl to Indian skipper Rohit Sharma after the latter saw him bowl in stadium before Team India’s practice session. In the video shared by BCCI, Drushil revealed that he was spotted by Rohit Sharma when the former was bowling with his young teammates in the practice session. 

Impressed with youngster’s smooth bowling action, Rohit invited Drushil to bowl him few overs in the nets. The delighted young kid bowled few overs to Rohit Sharma and also got the opportunity to meet few other Indian cricketers in the dressing room.

Team India are currently in Brisbane and will play practice match against defending champions Australia on October 17. The Men in Blue will then play their final practice match against New Zealand before playing their first match of T20 World Cup 2022 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
