This hattrick came in the 13th over of the Vancouver inning after Corbin Bosch smashed Abbas for a four and a six. However, who would know what was coming ahead was that fatal. The Montreal Tigers pacer dismissed Corbin on the fourth delivery of the over with Muhammad Waseem completing a catch. Afridi later dismissed Rassie van der Dussen on the very next delivery. He completed a hattrick by then sending Najibullah back to the pavilion on a golden duck with the efforts of Srimantha Wijeratne.

Talking of the match, Chris Lynn-led Montreal Tigers won the toss and invited Vancouver Knights to bat first. The Rassie van der Dussen-led side posted 137/6 in their 20 overs with Mohammed Rizwan being the top-scorer for the side. However, an unbeaten knock from Sherfane Rutherford (48*) helped the side to seal the match and make their place in the summit clash. With three balls to spare, the Tiger won by one wicket.

The Montreal Tigers will now face the Surrey Jaguars in the final on August 6 at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario.
