What a day Glenn Phillips is having on the field. While he set the base for New Zealand's 200/3 after they were invited to the bat first by Australian captain Aaron Finch through his blistering innings of 42 off 16 balls, he is far from done. Phillips proved his utility once again when he took a superb catch to dismiss Marcus Stoinis in Australia's run chase.

His effort came in the second ball of the 9th over being bowled by Mitchell Santner. While the spinner just bowled a gentle bowl outside the off stump, Stoinis gave himself some room to play an aerial stroke on the off side. While he did not time the ball perfectly, it seemed to be going towards a no man's land before Phillips covered quite some distance, running to his left from deep cover and completing a catch by diving full-length and getting both hands under the ball.
