E ngland skipper Jos Buttler is back! While he missed out on the series against Pakistan due to injury concerns, he announced that he was fit for the series against Australia as well as the T20 World Cup at the press conference before the series opener in Perth. However, when he came out to bat on Sunday, he even played a couple of his trademark shots that well and truly declared that he was back to his best.

Perhaps the best case in point was the shot that Buttler played in the fifth ball of the fifth over of the innings which was being bowled by Kane Richardson. While the bowler pitched this ball a little short, that didn't stop Buttler from going ahead with the scoop shot which he had attempted even on the previous ball for a boundary.

However, this time around, he got into a superb position and waited for the ball before timing the scoop to perfection getting the maximum result. His stroke was well-applauded by the fans.

Other than himself, Buttler had also given an injury update on Liam Livingstone at the pre-match presser.

"[He] is still a little way off at the minute so he's building back. Hopefully he'll get back to full fitness before the start of the World Cup," he said.

"Don't think there's any pressure on us," Buttler said. "The team has changed with a new coach and captain. It's very early in our era as a group albeit we have fantastic players in our team and some real match-winners and world-class players," he had said while addressing the question on the pressure win a T20 World Cup.

England will begin their World Cup campaign against Afghanistan on October 22.
