Australia is already on the verge of winning this warm-up fixture against India. While the Aaron Finch led side won the toss and opted to bowl first, they restricted India under the 200-run mark.

KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav were the only two batters who crossed the 50-run mark while the others failed to score above 25. On the other hand, Australia started the second innings on a strong foot. But it was not long enough when Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave India their first breakthrough. The next batter in Steve Smith also scored quickfire 11 off 12 deliveries before falling off Chahal.

Glenn Maxwell joined skipper Aaron Finch in the middle in the 10th over. Although the all-rounder could not stay in the middle for long, before he departed after scoring 23 runs off 16 balls. It was in the 12th over, the all-rounder suffered a massive blow on his eye. While he tried to play the pull shot off Chahal's delivery, the ball edged and hit him, escaping some serious injury to the 34-year-old.
