Team India will enter this fixture high on confidence after registering a thumping win over arch-rivals Pakistan in their T20 World Cup opener. While Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 off 53 deliveries,  Hardik Pandya  was the second highest run-scorer for the Men in Blue with a knock of 40 off 37 balls. He even took three wickets in the first innings, to put an all-round show.

After the fans and cricket enthusiasts saw the all-rounder struggle to score runs like he usually does, a few of them even took to Twitter to say that he might be dropped for India’s fixture against Netherlands. Notably, India will play against the Netherlands on October 27 (Thursday) at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

In response to this, India’s bowling coach Paras Mhambrey has now opened up. The 50-year-old said the management is not looking to rest anyone for the game against Netherlands.

“We are not going to rest anyone. I think we have momentum going in the tournament, you need individuals to be in form as well. Some haven’t gotten an opportunity to bat like, so it is important for them to have game time.”

“Hardik wants to play all matches. We are not looking at whom to rest. He is an important player for us, he is bowling as well as batting for us. Other than that, his attitude on the ground like in the last match he played a crucial inning,” Mhambrey further added in the press conference ahead of match against Netherlands.

Earlier, skipper  Rohit Sharma had made a big statement , stinting that if required the side might change their Playing XI in every game in the T20 World Cup.
