Kieron Pollard's 17-ball fifty helped MI to chase down a big total of 219 against bitter rivals CSK in IPL 2021. This match was also the first instance of MI chasing down a total of 200+ and overall 2nd highest total (219) chased down in the IPL history.

Harshal Patel has managed to pick up 17 wickets from first 7 matches of IPL 2021 which makes him a good contender to go for the record of taking most wickets in a single IPL season. The record is currently held by Dwayne Bravo who claimed 32 wickets in IPL 2013.
