The recent development in IPL 2021 is Tim Southee has been signed by KKR as replacement for Pat Cummins and Adil Rashid is being signed by PBKS for rest of the IPL in 2021 at UAE. 23 - Mohammed Shami has picked 23 wickets in IPL in UAE.

Shami picked up 3 wickets during IPL 2014 in UAE and 20 wickets during IPL 2020 which happened entirely in UAE. He has been the key bowler for PBKS in the last few seasons and his performance in the 2nd phase of IPL 2021 is likely to play key role for PBKS in winning games for his team. Notably, his recent performance in Test cricket has been spectacular.

23 - Brendon McCullum during his memorable knock of 158* (73) vs RCB in the inaugural match of IPL 2008, smashed 23 boundaries (13 Sixes & 10 fours).

McCullum was the first batsman to smash a century in IPL and he did it in the opening match of IPL 2008 itself. His 158* is the 2nd highest score in IPL history and his knock set the tempo for IPL way back in 2008.
