England Women: 3

India Women: 2

Team News:

England Women

England have a very settled team at the moment and they are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

India Women

Jemimah Rodriguez could come into the team in place of Punam Raut as India look to bounce back after defeat in the 1st ODI.

Key Players:

Shafali Verma- Teenage sensation Shafali Verma entered the record books by notching up the highest score by an Indian woman cricketer on Test debut as she registered a score of 96 in the 2nd innings. However, she could not score big in the 1st ODI. All eyes will again be on Verma to see if she can fire on all cylinders in the 2nd ODI.

Mithali Raj- Though Indian skipper Mithali scored a 72 in the 1st ODI, her strike rate needs drastic improvement. She used 108 balls to score 72 runs. Collectively, India had a dot ball percentage of close to 60% (181 dot balls), which certainly needs to improve. While T20 skipper Harmanpreet also needs to perform as she has been underperforming for quite a while now.

Nat Sciver - Sciver scored an unbeaten 74 in the 1st ODI and looks in spectacular form. The 28-year-old has played 71 ODIs and has 1343 runs and 49 wickets to her name. After an impactful performance in 1st ODI, Sciver will be keen on producing a good all-round performance in the 2nd ODI series as well.
