The 36th National Games of India is all set to take place in six cities of Gujarat between September 27 and October 10, 2022. After a gap of seven years, the event will be held in cities like Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. The logo of the highly-anticipated tournament was revealed on Friday (22 July) at Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir in the presence of State Sports Minister Harsh Sanghavi and officer bearers of Indian Olympics Association.

The inaugural function of the National Games will be held at the Narendra Modi stadium. Ahmedabad, Vadodra, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar and Bhavnagar will host 36 different games as part of the event.

Notably, the previous edition of the National Games took place in Kerala in 2015. Due to various reasons, including the pandemic the games are now being organised after a gap of seven years. Let’s look at the all available details regarding upcoming 36th National Games of India.

The tournament will take place from 27 September to 10 October in Gujarat.
