Lose the first match. Bounce back in the next game and not look back then. This has been India's story in the last few series and they continued the same trend against England in the ongoing T20I series. After a one-sided loss, the Men in Blue responded in style with a comprehensive 7-wicket win on Tuesday. And once again, it were the youngsters who dictated the proceedings.

It was the duo of Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur who bamboozled the England batting line-up with their impressive bowling. In the batting department, debutant Ishan Kishan literally stole the show with his free-flowing fearless cricket at top of the order. Skipper Virat Kohli also returned to form as his unbeaten half-century powered India to level the series 1-1.

The visitors will have a few issues ahead of this contest. While Jason Roy has looked in good touch, Jos Buttler seems to be struggling at top. The bowling looked lackluster as well with Chris Jordan, Tom Curran and Ben Stokes going for more than 10 runs per over. Eoin Morgan's side will certainly need to come up with a much-more clinical performance if they have to prevent the repeat show of what transpired in the Test series.

Team News

India:

Rohit Sharma, who was rested for the first 2 T20Is, could return to the team for this contest. It is still a 50-50 though but if he returns, he will have to replace KL Rahul, who has scores of 1 and 0 in the series so far.

England:

Mark Wood, who missed the previous contest due to fitness concerns, could return for this all-important match. Eoin Morgan confirmed that the pacer is feeling better. If Wood comes in, he is expected to replace Tom Curran who conceded 26 runs in 2 overs without taking any wicket.
