Team India have received a big blow ahead of their limited-overs series against West Indies as 7 members, including 3 members from support staff have been tested positive for COVID-19. Although names of all the infected members have not been revealed yet, sources have confirmed that Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer and Ruturaj Gaikwad have been tested positive.

The team reached Ahmedabad on Monday and were tested upon arrival. As per reports, the BCCI medical team is currently monitoring the situation and the Board is expected to announce replacements shortly. India is scheduled to play the first of three ODIs at the Narendra Modi Stadium on February 6. The three T20Is are scheduled to be held in Kolkata between February 16-20.

Rohit Sharma is set to lead the squad in both formats, whereas KL Rahul will be his deputy. It will be Rohit Sharma's first series as skipper of limited-overs format.
