Friendship Day is here! We always talk about how love completes one’s life but it is the friendship that sets the foundation. Friendship is something that makes the world a better place to live in. Everyone has that special friend who is the yin to your yang, who is the Veeru of your Sholey type life, a Monica who cleans your messy lifestyle. In today’s article, we are going to talk about types of friends we all have in our lives but in CRICKET STYLE. Because let’s admit it, all lifelong friendship starts on the field of cricket.

The 'Raina' Friend

We all have that one friend who just treats us like an older sibling and tries to follow our footsteps. A friend, who is good in finances but takes science just to be with his or her best friend. Your advice is more valuable to them than anything else. This type of friendship in cricketing term is called 'Dhoni-Raina' bond. The southpaw treats Dhoni as his older brother and so deep is their friendship that Raina announced his retirement on the same day Dhoni did. Now that’s called a friendship.

The 'Pandya' Friend

The most popular friend is who is a social butterfly. Their conversation starts with P and ends on Y. They bring the extrovert out of you and are part of several groups. In cricketing terms, they are more like Hardik Pandya, who knows how to hit out of the park on and off the field. Want to know the best place to party? Call them.

The 'Rohit' Friend

We all have that one friend, whose sole purpose in life is to tease us and make fun of us. Want to turn your misery into a funny script? Call them. These types of friends are called 'The Rohit Friend'. If you are becoming over-confident and need someone to show you a mirror, this friend will be perfect. He will counsel you in a way that you will never overestimate yourself.

We all need these types of friends in our lives. If you don’t have these types of friends, start going out. And if you already have these, just call up that buddy and hang out. Let the conversations flow and get to know each other all over again!
