Delhi Capitals (DC) got back to winning ways as they thrashed table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 44 runs in a high-scoring game. After being put in to bat first, DC put a mammoth 215/5 on the board. Prithvi Shaw and David Warner hit half-centuries while Rishabh Pant. Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur chipped in with quickfire 20s.
In the bowling department, Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav shone with their performances. While Ahmed took three wickets, Kuldeep Yadav impressed everyone with his 4-wicket haul. He dismissed KKR captain Shreyas Iyer, Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine, and Umesh Yadav. Shardul Thakur also aided these two with his two wickets in the last over to finish things for his team.
