It was another good performance by Sunrisers Hyderabad to stop the undefeated Gujarat Titians in IPL 2022. Gujarat were the only team to have not lost a game so far. However, broke their winning streak as they beat them by eight wickets in a close-fought counter. Both captains led their team from the front as both Hardik Pandya and Kane Williamson notched up half-centuries.
Although the match was won by Hyderabad, the Orange Army did not have a really good day in the field. They dropped three catches of Abhinav Manohar with 10 balls. In batting as well, the opening pair of Abhishek Sharma and Kane Williamson started really slow as they managed only 11 runs in first three overs.
As the game progressed, Twitter users shared their emotions. While some criticized SRH for their sloppy fielding, some praised Kane Williamson for his captain's knock.
