Aditi Ashok’s Golf Match at Tokyo Olympics When and Where to Watch, Timings and More

After managing to impress in Round 2, Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok is all set to battle her way in the next round on August 6 at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The 23-years-old has consecutively been performing well in all her rounds and has been able to maintain her position at number two in each of the first 2 rounds at Tokyo Olympics so far.

The 2020 Tokyo Games is Aditi’s second Olympics and she trails United State of America’s World No. 1, Nelly Korda by four shots after the completion of Round 2. The Bengaluru based Arjuna Award winning golfer managed to roll five birdies. Out of which three came in her last four shots. With that being said, after Round 2, Aditi Ashok stood on the second position alongside Denmark’s Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Emily Kristine Pedersen.

Talking about the World No. 1, Nelly Korda, at one stage in Round 2 was 11-under for 17 roles and looked all set for a historic sub-60 score of 59 at the par-71 course. Even after such dominant and experienced display, Ashok managed to keep herself in the hunt with birdies on hole numbers- 2,5,15,17 and 18 respectively.

Having said that, both Indian golfers, Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are slated to compete on August 6 in Round 3. Speaking of the latter, Dagar returned a 72 to share 53rd position on six-over 148. With both golfers hanging around, it would be safe to say that Aditi Ashok looks to be in the contention of delivering a significant first Olympic medal for India in the sport of Golf.

When and Where to Watch Round 3?

Aditi Ashok will take the center stage at the Kasumigaseki Country Club from 5:48 AM (Indian Standard Time). All the action will be broadcast live on the Sony Pictures Network – Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2, Sony Ten 3 and Sony Six.
