The second-tier continental club competition in Asia- AFC Cup 2021- is already up and running. While this happens to be the 18th edition of the tournament, two Indian clubs ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC are featuring in Group D of the tournament. Bashundhara Kings and Maziya Sports & Recreation are the other clubs in Group D. Notably. the winners of the tournament will secure a place in the 2022 AFC Champions League, entering the qualifying play-offs, if they haven't made it through their performances in the domestic leagues.
