Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by 45 runs in the second T20I in Abu Dhabi to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Afghanistan batting first, posted a huge total of 193/5 and won this game convincingly by 45 runs. Afghanistan have won the 3 match T20I series by 2-0 with 1 more match to go. Usman Ghani's 49 and Karim Janat's 53 helped Afghanistan to get a solid foundation and later Mohammad Nabi's quickfire 40(15) helped them to go past 190.

Zimbabwe kept losing wickets at regular intervals while chasing a big total of 194 and their batsmen never got going. Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Naveen ul-haq picked 3, 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
