India to play a three days practice match

The Indian team is currently in Durham, preparing for a three days practice match against County Select XI.  BCCI recently shared glimpses of Indian players during their net sessions. Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Ravi Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, and others were seen sweating in the nets. Notably, Rishabh Pant will not be playing as he tested positive for COVID-19. India's Throwdown specialist had also tested positive for the virus. As a precautionary measure, Wriddhiman Saha, who was in close contact with the former, has been put in isolation. KL Rahul is set to keep the wickets in the absence of Pant and Saha.
