The all-rounder has been in sensational form for India across all formats and has been a key member of the side's historic series win against Australia and England. While the youngster is known for his quiet nature on the field, he has now shown his fun side through his latest Instagram post.
Most unique name of a pet ever?
On Thursday, Sundar posted a photo on social media with his family and his new pet. Apart from mentioning that he had a lovely time at home, he also welcomed the newest member in the family in the form of an adorable dog. However, he also gave a hint to the fans that the name of the pet is related to his Test debut. As the all-rounder made his debut in the fourth Test between India and Australia at Gabba, it seems like Sundar has named his new pet dog 'Gabba'.

The relationship between a pet and the owner is often the most beautiful ones. Hence, the name of Sundar's new pet dog is never going to make him forget his memorable Test debut at the iconic venue. Getting an opportunity in the absence of experienced Ravi Ashwin, Sundar certainly announced himself to the biggest stage in style. After taking 3 wickets in the first innings, the all-rounder played a match-winning knock of 62 runs when India were in a state of trouble. The 21-year-old also took the key wicket of David Warner in the second innings before playing a memorable cameo of 22 runs on the last day as India won the match against all odds.
