Golberg, the former Universal Champion, has disclosed that he would fancy a battle with John Cena in the WWE. The Hall of Famer at the World Wrestling Entertainment and the 16-time world champion are arguably two of the biggest stars from the wrestling arena. However, they have never gone head to head inside the ring.
In a recent interview, Goldberg named Cena as one of the WWE Superstars that he would like to take on after the SummerSlam. He even said that it has actually been a dream to fight Cena.

"[John] Cena, that's always been a dream [match]," said Goldberg. "Never been in the ring with him. We're two completely different characters. Hey, you never know. You never know," Goldberg told DAZN News.
Other than Cena, Goldberg named Riddie, Roman Reigns as well as Mr Money in the Bank, and Big E as people he would like to face post the Biggest Party of the Summer at WWE. He was also all in praise on Big E by saying that he is proud of the former Intercontinental Champion and said that he is happy for the star.
"Big E has to be on that list," Goldberg said.
"I've watched him for years develop, and I'm very proud of him. I do remember when he was in my autograph line 150 years ago, as a little kid having aspirations of doing things that he's doing now. The road that he's taken and the hard work that he's put towards it, he's reaping the benefits, and I'm extremely proud of him. I'm very happy for him. There are still people that I need to smash up," he added.
At the SummerSlam on Saturday, Goldberg will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. Moreover, John Cena will be up against The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns in the main event of the show for the Universal title.
If the Goldberg vs John Cena fixture becomes a reality in the future, it could make for a superb encounter with fans eagerly waiting for two big names to go up against each other.
