Virat Kohli is a huge name in international cricket. Other than being the poster boy of Indian cricket, brand Kohli is also the face of the sport in distant parts of the world. The right-handed batter is a superstar and easily one of the best batters of modern-day cricket. The ex-India skipper may no longer be the captain across formats and IPL but that has done no harm to his global reputation as a cricketing idol.
A recent image going viral on the internet is another example of that. Australian leg-break bowler Amanda-Jade Wellington shared a picture of a Funko Pop on Virat Kohli that she has purchased. In a tweet, the 24-year-old revealed that she couldn't believe it herself when she found the collectable. Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with 423 Million followers and a 1.22% engagement rate top the list. The second position is also bagged by a footballer Lionel Messi who has 317 Million followers and an engagement rate of 1.39%. Kohli is number 3 with Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe completing the top five.
Presently, Kohli is busy with his Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore. The team has won two out of their three matches in the IPL 2022 season so far but have a long way to go ahead in the competition which has become a 10-team competition this year.
