Multiple reports are doing rounds that La Liga giants Barcelona's new signings Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie could leave the club if they are not registered before Sunday's Spanish league opener against Rayo Vallecano.

Both Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie joined Barcelona on free transfers earlier this Summer. While the Denmark centre-back joined from Chelsea, the Ivorian midfielder left AC Milan to join Barcelona. Both the footballers are not registered by the club in the La Liga with just three days left until the new campaign starts.

A report by ESPN stated that the players could choose to execute a clause that allows them to leave for free if Barcelona failed to register them before Barca's La Liga opening fixture. Apart from them, fellow new signings Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Jules Kounde are also awaiting La Liga registrations, while Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele's contracts renewals are not inscribed with the league either.

After selling 25% of their domestic television rights for 25 years and a 24.5% stake in Barca Studios, the Catalan giants have managed to raise over €600m while they have spent over €150 million this summer.

The reports further suggested Barca are eyeing to sell an additional 24.5% stake in Barca Studios and will look to discuss wage adjustments with players like Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique among others.
