Following the conclusion of IPL 2021, the entire Indian squad has assembled in UAE as they begin preparations for 2021 T20 World Cup. The team is notably staying at the super luxurious Th8 Palm, the same hotel where Chennai Super Kings were residing in. And just like IPL, the bio-bubble life for Team India has started but there is a slight issue for captain Virat Kohli ahead of the mega event.
The 32-year-old is being forced to stay away from his wife Anushka Sharma, despite both of them in the same hotel. But why? It is because the Bollywood actress had not been in the bubble made for Indian team and their families as she had returned to Mumbai in September, having been with her husband throughout India's tour of England.
Anushka and Virat turn neighbors in UAE
However, ahead of the mega event, Anushka has reached UAE to cheer for Virat Kohli and Team India. She is currently undergoing a mandatory quarantine before she will be allowed to join the bio-bubble, re-uniting with Virat Kohli.
But despite the couple being forced to stay rooms apart, they are not missing any opportunity to enjoy this phase as well. Anushka Sharma shared a cheeky Instagram post on Saturday where she shared pictures of her husband.
In first couple of pictures, the Indian skipper can be seen talking to Anushka Sharma from two balconies away from her room. In another pics, Kohli is on the ground floor waving at his wife, presumably hoping for her quarantine to end soon.
Anushka's caption was also something that caught everyone's attention as she stated, "Couldn’t choose between these two captions - Quarantine makes the heart fonder & Love in the time of bubble life ? #OhWell , you get the point !"
