There is no age to take any step in life and former India cricketer Arun Lal is just proving that. The ex-India cricketer is set to marry for the second time at the age of 66 years if recent reports are to be believed. He will be tying the knot with Bul Bul Saha who is 38 years of age in Kolkata in the first week of next month.
The woman is believed to be Arun Lal’s long-time friend. The reports have also claimed that the marriage will be taking place at the Peerless Inn on May 2 in Kolkata. The report further claims that the invitation for the ceremony has already been sent to the Bengal cricket team, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) officials, and close friends and family.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly is also expected to grace the event with his presence. Notably, the 66-year-old former Bengal opener has been in a relationship with Bul Bul for a long time, and, according to reports, the couple got engaged about a month ago and now have decided to take that one extra step, making it official in front of the whole world.
Also, the marriage is taking place with the consent of Arun Lal’s first wife Reena, who is believed to be living with Lal as she is ill. As per a report in News 18 Bengali, Lal has been taking care of his first wife Reena and has taken her consent to tie the knot with his current partner Bul Bul.
Arun Lal played for India for seven years where he appeared in 19 international games. Lal amassed around 850 runs combined in ODIs and Tests. He also has over 10,000 runs in First-class cricket. After his retirement, the opener was also associated with the Bengal team as their coach.
