Asia’s best Junior Women’s boxer of 2018 and three-time Khelo India gold medalist, Arundhati Choudhary pulled off a dominating 5-0 victory over Ukraine's Maryana Stoiko to win a gold medal in the 69 kg category at the Adriatic Pearl Championship, Montenegro.

Arundhati knocked out Finland’s Evelina Taimi 5-0 in the first round and Uzbekistan’s Sevinchkhon Mirkhnjonova in the semifinals to reach the finals. She managed to knock off the opposite player in both the matches with an amazing score of 5-0.

The young boxer from Kota has been on an impressive winning streak since she finished on the top podium at the 2017 Junior National Boxing Championship. Some of her biggest achievements include 1st Khelo India School Games, Delhi, 2018 (60 kg) where she won a gold. The athlete also won a gold at the 2nd Khelo India Games in Pune in the year 2019, followed by another gold in 2020 at the Khelo India Games in 69 kg category in Guwahati.

Arundhati recently signed with SSPARK Sports to join their impressive roster of athletes that include the likes of Deepak Niwas Hooda, Ravi Bishnoi and Priya Punia.
