Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been in the limelight very recently for a number of allegations. A recent media report by a reputed news agency declared that it was Ravichandran Ashwin who revolted against Indian skipper Virat Kohli to BCCI, resulting in the latter stepping down from T20 captaincy after the T20 World Cup. As per the reports, the Indian off-spinner spoke to the BCCI secretary Jay Shah against Kohli for making him feel insecure and questioned his intent after the WTC final loss.

Notably, several media reports suggested it was that not just Ashwin but other members of coaching and support staff who were unhappy with Kohli’s behaviour. The media report went viral in no time and soon became the talk of the town with Ashwin being alleged as the reason for Kohli’s abrupt decision to give up the T20 captaincy.

Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was allegedly declared revolting against Virat Kohli to BCCI as per the IANS report. With the news spreading like wildfire, the 35-year-old broke his silence upon the remarks and slammed the news agency with the label of ‘Fake News'.

“I’m searching for the handle called ‘Fake News’, it used to be super fun for Gossip,” Ashwin put up a story on Instagram with laughing emojis, to take a sly dig.

Following which he further wrote “Oh yaaa!! Thank you guys. Found Them: I just heard they have renamed themselves and are now called IANS and some others take quotes from them too” with laughing emojis for a sarcastic remark.
