Reportedly cricket fans were upset about the delay in releasing tickets for India vs Pakistan on August 15 as the mega clash is generating huge interest amongst fans of both sides of the border. The ticket sales began at 7:30 PM and the tickets got sold out in just minutes, leading to the crashing of the website.

The official website stopped the proceedings minutes after tickets went live as all the tickets were booked in a couple of minutes. The official ticketing partner website had put up a queue to control the traffic with wait time ranging from 6 minutes to over an hour in some instances. India vs Pakistan clash always generates such demand for tickets as the tickets for clash between these arch-rivals in the upcoming T20 World Cup at the MCG on October 23 have also been sold out.
