India Test captain Virat Kohli took to social media to wish former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh a happy birthday on Sunday. Kohli recalled the welcome he received from Yuvi after he had come back from the Under-19 World Cup. Kohli also disclosed that the two have pretty similar taste in food and love Punjabi music and nice clothes.

Kohli made all these revelations in a video uploaded on the Instagram story.

"I had come in from the Under-19 World Cup; he welcomed me very nicely, made me comfortable, started joking around with me, and we liked similar kind of food. We are both Punjabis, love Punjabi music, getting nice clothes, shoes (chuckles); all these kinds of things have remained common over the years. We used to go out and do quite a bit of shopping together in a group obviously; so the likes were quite similar," Kohli said.

At this moment Kohli added the anecdote involving Yuvi which he termed simply "outrageous."

"We were in Dambulla; it was a couple of days off a match and literally at 3 or 3:30 in the morning he goes, 'We are gonna ride these bicycles to Colombo' and I clearly remember we all fell down laughing on the floor because it was just outrageous. We had a match in two days' time," he added.

"Happy birthday Yuvi Pa! Lots of peace, happiness and prosperity to you and lots of love always. And my best wishes to you," Virat concluded.

Kohli will next be seen leading India in the Test matches against South Africa. The Men in Blue have never managed to win a Test series in South Africa but Kohli will be eager to change that after having seen the team register Test series win in Australia twice and also leading one Test series in England.

The Rainbow country is being cited as the team's final frontier and Kohli would want to win there and continue the pursuit of excellence which he has believed in. Post that Kohli will be playing under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma for the first time in ODIs in the three 50 Over games that follow.
