Former India opener Virender Sehwag is known for his amazing sense of humour. Like in his playing days, Sehwag likes to keep it simple and is a pretty straightforward personality as he does not mince his words. After the first Super Over of IPL 2021, the dashing opener was at his destructive best as he trolled the Sunrisers Hyderabad for their baffling decision-making. Notably, while Kane Williamson managed to get the team to a Super Over after they looked dead and buried at one stage, SRH decided to go ahead with Williamson and David Warner as the two batters for Super Overs. This decision did not go down to well with several pundits including Sehwag.

"Unless Bairstow was in toilet, can't get why would he not be your first choice in a #SuperOver when he scored 38 of 18 in the main innings and looked the cleanest hitter," he wrote.

"Baffling. Hyderabad fought well but have only themselves to blame for strange decisions. #SRHvsDC," he added.

As a result of their narrow defeat, SRH now have 4 defeats and 1 win from their 5 matches and find themselves in 7th position in the points tally. They will meet CSK next on Wednesday.
