Bangladesh defeated Australia in the 1st T20I match by a margin of 23 runs with the help of great bowling display from Nasum Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman. Initially, Bangladesh managed to post just 131/7 in the span of 20 overs but they managed to defend the small total with a superb effort from their bowling attack. From the Australian team, only Mitchell Marsh fought hard. There was no support from other batsmen as Australia failed to chase the below-par total.
