Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are all set to play a 3-match ODI series, starting from tomorrow in Dhaka. Both teams have played 8 bilateral ODI series (all of them being 3 match ODI series) so far in the past and Sri Lanka have won 6 series out of them. Sri Lanka have won 19 of the 24 matches they played against Bangladesh in bilateral, with 2 of the games ending up in No Result.
However, Bangladesh can be hopeful of giving tough competition, considering the recent form of depleted Lankan team. Last time, when they both met in Asia Cup, Bangladesh ended up defeating Sri Lanka very convincingly by a margin of 137 runs in 2018. Bangladeshi's senior players like Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim are expected to step up for their team in much anticipated clash.
