In the last match of the three-game ODI series, Bangladesh square off with Sri Lanka. The match is a dead rubber as the Tigers have already sealed the series with two clinical victories in the first two games. The last match is scheduled to commence at 12:30 PM (IST) on Friday.
Bangladesh were an indomitable force in the first two ODI games and steamrolled the struggling Sri Lankan outfit. Led by Tamim Iqbal, the Tigers put and end to their 10-game losing streak with these victories. Mushfiqur Rahim has been very consistent in this series and has amassed 209 runs in 2 games with a staggering average of 104.50. On the other hand, spinner Mehidy Hasan has claimed 7 wickets in this series so far and must be on one’s fantasy team. Shakib-Al-Hasan hasn’t quite made an impact in this series yet his experience and capability would help him grab a sport in the final XI.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka need to go back to the drawing board and bring some major changes if they need to win the third ODI. Kusal Perera highlighted the lack of experience in the team in the post-match presentation. However, he also backed his players to believe in the side. Wanindu Hasaranga can majorly turn the game on its head and is a good option in one’s fantasy team. Along with him, Dushmantha Chameera is also a good pick as he has registered 4 wickets in the series and is the leading wicket-taker for the island nation in the ongoing contest.
