PUBG mobile is relaunching in India as Battlegrounds Mobile India, months after it was banned because of tensions between India and China. PUBG mobile’s parent company Krafton recently announced that PUBG mobile is being relaunched in India with an exclusive version, under the name ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’. After the official announcement, a teaser was released, confirming the news. A logo and a teaser for the game were uploaded on their official YouTube channel.
An exclusive website has also been set up for the new game along with its own social media handles. Krafton had earlier assured everyone that they were working on something specifically developed and serviced for India ever since the game was banned last year in September 2020, which had its largest market in India with over 175M downloads.
