Venue: Mericon Stadium, Carrara Oval, Gold Coast, Australia

Preview:

Despite having great players like Chris Lynn, Ben Duckett and Majeeb Ur Rahman in their ranks, Brisbane Heat is struggling to mark their first victory in the league but the kind of players they have it's just a matter of time. The Heat have lost their first two matches, but the team has a great set of players who will be eager to take the team to the winning side of the game, as that's what matters.

Whereas, Melbourne Renegades had extremely poor outing in the last season, while in the current edition they showcased a bit of character in the first game but second was again a disappointing one. Players like Sam Harper, Mackenzie Harvey and James  Seymour showed some potential in the game but they will be counting on their bowlers. Zahir Khan, with his three wicket haul displayed his skills, alongside Will Sutherland and Kane Richardson, the skipper they have a lot on their shoulder.

Head to Head:

Pitch Report:

The ground will be hosting its maiden match of the season and it is expected to be giving bowlers some edge. However, batsmen will have to bring their A game to take the team to an impressive total.

Team Analysis:

Brisbane Heat:

Jimmy Peirson's team is desperate to win it's first match and for that they will have to play in such a manner. The important thing to watch here will be if they are able to hold their nerve or not. Player like Chris Lynn, comes with a lot of experience but he has failed to live up to his expectations. Duckett's 46 in the season opener raised some hope for the fans but he could only manage to score 1 off 5 balls against Perth Scorchers. Afghan player Mujeeb Ur Rehman has a lot of expectations on his shoulder but so far he has disappointed everyone with two ducks in two games.

Melbourne Renegades:

Kane Richardson needs consistency from his player as they started well but their last match defeat was disappointing again. Players like Sam Harper, Reece Topley and skipper Richardson, will have to grab the opportunity and should pull of some consistency and a winning streak for the team.
