Ahead of Team India’s upcoming tour of England, the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) is making some big decisions. After adding one more player into the Indian men’s squad for UK tour, the BCCI has now unveiled the Annual Player Contracts for the Senior Women.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana & Poonam Yadav find place in Grade A, Mithali named in Grade B

As per the latest update on the contract list, BCCI have announced the annual contracts for Indian women’s team (Oct 2020 – Sept 2021), featuring players in three salary brackets – Grade A (INR 50 Lakhs), Grade B (INR 30 Lakhs), Grade C (INR 10 lakhs). Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Yadav are only the three women cricketers to find a place in the Grade A. The board also unveiled their pack package, which is equal to INR 50 Lakh.

Skipper Mithali Raj, all-rounder Jhulan Goswami, Deepti Sharma and youngster Shafali Verma were a few names to have secured their name in the Grade B category.

Mansi Joshi, Harleen Deol, Priya Punia along with three others secured their name in the Grade C category in the latest contract.

However, the contract is valid upto September 2021 and might see some more entries after the much awaited tour of England and Australia later this year.
