Namibia will host a global T20 series that will feature four teams from across the world. The tournament is scheduled to take place before the most-important T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia later this year.

Apart from these two teams, the four teams competing in the tournament include Namibia and a South African domestic team.

Bengal is set to represent India while Lahore Qalandars will be representing Pakistan in the tournament. Momentum Multiply Titans will represent South Africa in the global T20 tournament.

Bengal have announced a 16-member squad for the competition with Abhimanyu Easwaran named the captain of the Indian side. Shahbaz Ahmed, Ishan Porel, Mukesh Kumar, Akash Deep, Writtick Chatterjee and a number of fresh faces are also included in the Bengal cricket team for the T20 competition in Namibia.

After 2014, this is the first time when domestic teams of India and Pakistan will play each other in any format.
