The Premier League is often considered the best league contest of football in the world. Every game week brings the fans something unexpected like nail bailing thriller or a David vs Goliath upset. The stakes are always high as each and every game matters. Similarly, the league has generated some of the greatest footballing event in the sport’s history.

From players like David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes, who have been midfield maestros, to roadblock defenders like Patrick Viera, Sol Campbell, Nemanja Vidic etc. But, throughout the history of the league, the biggest draws have been the forwards who score tons of goals, score screamers and break records night in and night out. 

So let us take a look at a list of forwards that have had the best minutes-per-goal record in in the recent Premier League history. This consists of some household names who have made scoring looks like a piece of cake.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the best signings done by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Fergusson. Ronaldo was brought in from Sporting Lisbon in 2004 and has gone on to become one of the Reds in history. But his 2008 season puts him on this list as he scored 33 goals with a goal every 119 minutes.

HurriKane

Harry Kane is on a dream run to become the top English player in Premier League history. Playing for the Tottenham Hotspur, he has scored 173 goals and is seventh on the all-time goal-scoring list. Kane’s best season was in 2017, when he scored every 79 minutes and ended with 49 goals. 

Aguerooooo!!!

Sergio Aguero is considered the best Manchester City player in history. The Argentinian maestro has also been a supremely consistent goal scorer in history as he ended his career with a tally of 184 goals. One of his best performances was in the 2019 season, where he scored 33 goals and netted a goal every 91 minutes.

The Egyptian King

Mo Salah has been a generational talent since his move to Liverpool. The 29-year-old has scored goals at an incredible rate and has scored 116 goals in just 182 appearances. Salah’s best season has been the 2021 season, where he scored every 121 minutes and ended with 37 goals.
