The Men in Blue are all set to tour to England for the upcoming World Test Championship. However, with some good news comes some bad also. One of Team India’s greatest assets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been left out from the 20-member squad travelling to UK for the final and the England Test series.

“Bhuvneshwar Kumar doesn't want to play Test Cricket anymore”

According to recent reports, the 31-year-old is focusing more on the limited overs format over Test cricket. Notably, despite being fit and in-form, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was left from the squad for England tour.

According to some former cricketers, his exclusion came as a shock because in a country like England where swing & seam play an important role, the Meerut-born cricketer would have been a perfect arsenal to the Indian side.

A BCCI source was quoted as saying that Bhuvneshwar Kumar doesn’t want to play Test cricket anymore. He’s focusing on the upcoming T20Is. “The drive has gone missing,” they added.
