Bobby Lashley might just have a stern challenge ahead of him as he begins the defence of his WWE Championship against Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. While the seeds for this contest were sown after the tag team fight between RK-Bro and the Hurt Business at the previous week on RAW, Ortain had clearly spread out the Lashley with an RKO during the last edition of the red brand.

And now during the initial moments of this week's show, All-Mighty Lashley faced up to Oron and quite clearly proposed a challenge for a WWE Title match. Lashley was up to the task and wasted no time in accepting the fight. He even entered himself as the MVP into the Tag Team Turmoil for the number 1 contenders' sport for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

The WWE Champion and his manager even tasted success in pulling this off and will now challenge RK-Bro for their much sought-after titles in the coming week.

It has already been made official by a Tweet from the verified account of WWE which states that the match between Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley was one with the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. This was posted after the conclusion of RAW.

"#TheViper @RandyOrton challenges The All Mighty #WWEChampion @fightbobby at #ExtremeRules!" a release on the WWE's official website was captioned.

Another thing worth looking forward to is whether Lashley will enter the pay-per-view as a double Champion holding both the WWE and RAW Tag Team titles.

Previously, Randy Orton had made a statement when he had dropped the All-Mighty with an RKO which was the WWE Champions had attempted to attack Riddle. The same story was on the recent edition of the RAW as the Viper struck again with an RKO as Lashley was recovering from an attack by Omos.

Although the All Mighty Lashley will get an opportunity to get revenge on Orton in the coming week, the RKO has had a catastrophic impact on him and could well prove to his shortcoming that could be taken advantage of.
