Ahead of IPL 2022, if there is one person who is on a roll on social media, it has to be Yuzvendra Chahal. The leg-spinner recently took over the Twitter handle of new franchise Rajasthan Royals and got the entire internet talking about him when he also announced himself as captain of the franchise.
No one exactly knew what was happening but one thing was clear that Chahal had indeed been quite successful in entertaining the fans. As normalcy resumed on Thursday, the 31-year-old was back managing his own account on Instagram and this is when he came up with another hilarious moment which left everyone in splits.
Funny Chahal shows his sense of humour
It all started when Shardul Thakur came up with a funny post alongside his Mumbai and India teammates Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane. With the two senior batsman standing on each side of Thakur, the all-rounder captioned the post as, "Having bodyguards is just a part of being famous I think ?" taking a sly dig at the duo.
Just when everyone thought that Thakur had won the caption game, it was Chahal who stole the show in comments section. The leg-spinner stated, "Bodyguards ki body kahan hai thakur sahib ??" trolling Rahane and Hitman in some style.
Meanwhile, Rohit's wife Ritika Sajdeh also came up with a mysterious comment where she seemed to be warning Thakur that he needs to get ready now for an epic reply from India's captain.
Talking about bodybuilding and Chahal, it's a very old and unique combination. Notably, the images of leg-spinner posing with Chris Gayle had once gone viral on internet after which the cricketer also kept coming with hilarious comments on the same.
As Chahal now gets ready to share dressing room with Jimmy Neesham at Rajasthan Royals, fans can expect lot more entertainment during IPL 2022.
