A day after reports claimed that Indian cricketer KL Rahul and his girlfriend Athiya Shetty are getting married in next three months, the Bollywood actress has slammed the rumors via a Instagram story. Earlier, reports hinted that the pair will take wedding vows in next three months after dating each other for over a year.
Athiya Shetty posted an Instagram story on Thursday and took a dig at media publications by saying that she is hoping to be invited in the marriage which is taking place in three months. She wrote, "I hope I am invited to the wedding that's taking place in 3 months. Lol."
The couple frequently spends time with each other and Bollywood actress has accompanied the cricketer during couple of bilateral tours. Athiya was a frequent visitor at stadiums during recently concluded Indian Premier League and used to cheer for her boyfriend and skipper of Lucknow Super Giants.
KL Rahul is currently recovering from right groin injury which he suffered during training session ahead of five-match T20I home series against South Africa.
He also travelled to Germany to get the required treatment and has recently returned to India after going through successful surgery.
