Former South Africa spinner Imran Tahir, who is part of the World Giants side in Legends League Cricket, will not take further part in the tournament. Tahir, who played a brilliant knock in the match against India Maharajas, will no longer be available for the remaining matches as he will travel to Pakistan to play Pakistan Super League.

Tahir, who is part of Multan Sultans, will reach Pakistan early to quarantine and will be available for the tournament, which is starting on January 27.

Notably, Imran Tahir was retained by Multan Sultans for the 2022 edition of the PSL. The franchise had retained 7 players last year for the PSL 2022.

Mohammad Rizwan, Rilee Rossouw (both Platinum), Imran Tahir (Diamond, Mentor), Sohaib Maqsood (Diamond), Khushdil Shah (Gold, Brand Ambassador), Shahnawaz Dahani and Shan Masood (both Gold)
