Brendan Taylor is set to retire from international cricket after serving his country for 17 years with utmost pride. The wicket-keeper batsman who has smashed almost close to 10,000 runs in international cricket has been a stalwart for Zimbabwe team over the years. Brendan Taylor captained his national side from 2011-2015 period. He led his side for few of the games that happened in early 2021 as well. 60 - During Aus vs Zim in WT20 2007, Brendan Taylor smashed 60*(45) against Australia and pulled off a stunning 5 wicket victory for his team. Brendan Taylor's 60* remains to be the highest score ever by any Zimbabwe batsman in T20 WC.

171 - Brendan Taylor's 171 vs Ban in 2013 remains to be the highest score by a Zimbabwe captain in Test Cricket. Also he scored a Test Century on his captaincy debut vs Ban in 2011.
