Call of Duty: Warzone

Gamers will have nostalgia with the addition of 80’s action heroes, John Rambo and John McClane in the latest update of the game. The developers of Call of duty: Warzone, Verdansk ’84 map came up with the game’s latest upgrade by ticking the clock backwards to the 1980s.

The much anticipated third season as well as the map of the battle-royale video game is a bag full of entertainment for the gamers. Movie-inspired gear, limited-time modes and locations are some of the additions for the ‘80s Theme Action Hero event. The two limited-time bundles will be available in the Warzone store from 20 May 9.30 AM IST until June 18 in Call of Duty.

Nakatomi Plaza, operator skin, weapon blueprints and other updates

Nakatomi Plaza is one of the iconic locations from the American action movie series ‘Die Hard’, featuring John Mcclane whose legendary operator skin is available in the bundle. The multi-story building features a sprawling 10 interior levels and a roof to explore, in addition to expansive exterior grounds. It also includes three weapon blueprints: the “Plaza Security” assault rifle, the “Hostage Situation” Tactical Rifle and the “Shattered Plans” SMG, all inspired by the film.

The survivor camp is inspired by the Rambo: First Blood part II, where you can take home some gear for yourself and your soldier friends. Like McClane bundle, Rambo's bundle will also have three legendary Weapon Blueprints: the “Rambo classic” LMG, the “Bloodstained” assault rifle and the “Rambo’s knife”.

We are excited to get into the hands of players: Matt Krystek

Matt Krystek, Lead Game Designer at High Moon Studios, was thrilled and excited about the new entrances. "We wanted to give players a ton of ways to access this building, so we ended up adding another stairwell that actually goes down into the garage from outside of the building", Krystek said.

The one-month window will be an exciting experience for all the gamers and Rambo- McClane fans to not just walk but battle in the shoes of their superheroes from ’80s.
