The Call of Duty World Series of Warzone is making a remarkable comeback in 2022. Prime Gaming is set to return on August 12, 2022 with the most prominent names in Warzone. As of now, competition is only available in two regions - Europe and America.

The battle royale on the pacific island of Caldera will call out the best to compete against each other. The fresh edition will consist of a North American (NA) event and a European (EU) event with separate $300,000 prize pools for the teams. Lets look at all the available information regarding World Series of Warzone.

Format:

The edition will offer one big Trios event that players will be able to qualify for in the In-Game Open from August 12-15. Once, the in-game qualification ends, the qualifier for the main event will begin. Reports have claimed that the 20-highest performing squads will meet up with 20 other pre-invited teams to face off in the showdown.

Dates:

The competition's open qualification will officially be held on August 12 and conclude on August 15 at the same time. While, the regional qualifiers will start on August 20, main event dates are not yet available. But reports have claimed that it will commence shortly after the conclusion of regional qualification.

How to compete in WSOW:

Players can now sign-up for the open qualification. In order to be eligible for the tournament, everyone needs to have GameBattles and Activision accounts in good standings. After reaching the eligibility criteria, players can sign up to compete in the open qualification and battle out in the ultimate contest.

They can visit the World Series of Warzone's official site to register. Players will score points based on their performance during the public playlist. The scoreboard will take the best 10 performances and determine who is advancing to the next round. A total group of 40 will be advancing to the regional qualifier.

Prize Pool:

The competition is offering massive amount of $300,000 for each region, amounting to a total of $600,000 prize pool. SoloYolo is also back in the tournament this year and and the finalists will compete in their respective regions for the ultimate solo battle royale. Simple rule has been drawn for everyone that means the winner takes it all. The winner will pocket a massive $100,000 prize.
